Happy Valley is located off happy hill, home to the prime-minister Dr. Keith Mitchell. This site is a really relaxing and chill out dive, with usually no or very little current, the dive can follow many different paths. Pay close attention to the reef to spot honeycomb cow fish that hang out here. Great Barracuda can be seen lurking in the sandy shallow seeking prey. Squid fly in formation as a family, but are very well camouflaged, tend to be swimming at the same level as the divers and appear translucent as they turn away.Dive Master Notes
Dive begins in 8m/26ft and slopes away quite quickly to 20m/66ft. Dive begins round the corner from Flamingo bay. Allow current to take divers around the rock point and there is then an option to come shallow or stay at 20m/66ft. By coming shallow, we get the opportunity to see some nice reef that is rich in marine life or by staying deep we come to some coral pyramids that are surrounded by sand. Keep a look out to the west for some old motor cars that were dumped here to dive upon.
